New publication to help reduce capsular contracture rates

Mr Harris and colleagues have produced and published a major review of surgical factors that can help reduce the likelihood of capsular contracture after breast implant surgery.
Mr Harris commented that “Capsular contracture remains the major cause of re-operation in breast implant surgery. We have undertaken a review of the available published literature to help surgeons reduce their own rates of this debilitating problem in the future”.
