Launch of Implant Health

As increasing concerns grow globally about the safety of silicone breast implants, many surgeons and patients have called for a greater ongoing surveillance program for both reconstructive and aesthetic surgery patients with breast implants. To provide a solution to this healthcare need, Mr Harris and three colleagues have set up a new company in collaboration with several UK imaging facilities to offer a one-stop service for breast implant imaging and a breast health check.
“Patients have been asking what they should do about checking their implants and clearly this sort of service is vitally needed given all the scandals that we have seen over the years with silicone breast implants” says Mr Harris.
